Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful women who help to look after us!

We hope you have had a little bit of special time this weekend with the small people (and grown up people) that are important to you.

This is my sister, my mum and me.

I have spent this afternoon talking, laughing and singing along to Frozen with my mum and my sister.  Then we had a delicious roast dinner.

Bicycles!!

Today we have been learning how to use a balance bike.  

A balance bike is a bike without any pedals or stabilisers. 

We persevered trying to glide along quickly.

It's snowing!!

Look outside and check for some snow!!

It's snowing where I live this morning and it is very cold! I will have wrap up warm in a coat, scarf, hat, wellies and gloves.

Frosty Day!

This morning the grass is covered in frost. 

 I have been out walking my dog in the frost and it is very cold.

Go out and feel the frost. 

What does it feel like? What happens when you touch it? What happens when you walk on it?  What can you hear when you walk on it?

Windy Weather!

Last night the weather was very windy!

Is it windy when you walk outside today?  What do you need to wear?  How do you know it is windy? 

Take a tissue outside and let go of it in the wind.  Tell us what happens to it!

Winter!

One of the fun things Peppa Pig does in the winter is ice skating.

Miss Bush, Mrs Koksal and Miss Howard went ice skating at Hampton Court Palace.  It was very cold.  We had ice skates on our feet and tried very hard not to fall over!
